I’m on the final week of my microdosing psilocybin mushrooms journey. It’s been a wonderful 4 weeks trying the Fadiman regimen. I feel that it has worked well and I’m interested in seeing how long the effects last afterwards. I may even create capsules with about 0.06-0.08 to take when I have a migraine because I noticed that if I had one the day I dosed. It went away! This will not be my last time microdosing psilocybin mushrooms. That is a fact. I’d like to try some different regimens and also add some herbs and mushrooms for other effects.
Microdose Day 8
This was another gloomy day, but I managed to get a lot done around the house while still teaching my son and playing games with him. I feel like the microdosing helps me to get in touch with my inner child. It let’s me really play with my son and I love that. We have so much fun goofing around and playing construction workers or firefighters. Although I started getting a migraine in the morning, but once I dosed, it subsided. I was pleasantly surprised by the migraine relief. The relief put me in a great mood all day and I had plenty of energy to be silly with my son.
Microdose Day 9
This was a bit of a rough day for me. I hadn’t slept well and had some issues putting my son down for his nap that day. It felt like a constant climb uphill all day. I did feel better than I normally would in the situation, but I was extremely exhausted. I definitely feel like I’m in a better head space than I was a month ago. It isn’t always going to be easy to stay positive or on the right track, but stay committed to working on yourself. The more work you put in, the more rewards start to come your way.
What I Learned from Microdosing
I love that I can still feel the effects on my off days. I’m interested in seeing how long the effects last or how long until I’ll feel it’s necessary to microdose again. This experience has taught me how to shut off my ego and really let my inner child free. It reminded me to live fully in the present moment instead of the dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. Microdosing has showed me that although a spiritual journey can be lonely, in the end, you need to learn to be comfortable by yourself. I’ve learned to find peace in the solitude and isolation that this year brought my way.
The more you focus on the positives in your life, no matter how small they seem, it opens the door for more blessings to come. Energy attracts like energy. The more you focus on your lack or the negative, the more of that comes into your life. I firmly believe this because I’ve seen it in action many times. So, try to focus on the positives in your life and watch more positive things show up.
What I Would Do Differently Next Time
I need to find a solution to the nausea that comes with microdosing psilocybin mushrooms. I was just having a Peach Ginger Tea but it wasn’t quite cutting it. I’ll do more research about this before my next regimen. I may also play around with slightly lowering the dose to about 0.09 and see if it still works as well. I’m excited to try a different schedule too. I did enjoy the Fadiman’s schedule but I’m going to try others as well.
