Microdosing Psilocybin Mushrooms: Week 2

Welcome back to my microdosing psilocybin mushrooms journey. Thanks for joining me! I am excited to have found my sweet spot with my dose. Now I don’t have to worry about feeling weird for a couple hours in the morning. I try to get out into nature every time I dose because I find it makes me feel more connected to nature. This alone helps with depression and anxiety so it’s like an extra boost of help.

Microdose Day 4

This was a fairly busy day. My son and I visited with my middle sister and her youngest daughter. After that, we went with my mother to the forest to feed animals and take pictures. It was a beautiful day and I was able to do Earthing as we walked through the forest as well. This keeps your energy grounded and reduces inflammation in the body. We spent about 3 hours walking around feeding animals and it was amazing. I had a great time bonding with my mom in nature even with all the COVID-19 chaos. Normally, a busy day would make me extra anxious, but it wasn’t like that today. The microdose that day really helped to give me a boost of energy and lift my mood.

Microdose Day 5

This day I had slept horribly and was exhausted. My day had started at 5am and it was a very long day. I still managed to get a little boost of energy from my dose but I still had to lie down for a while because I had only slept about 4-5 hours that night. We are currently cutting out naps for my 3 year old son, so some nights don’t go as planned. That’s life though, sometimes you don’t get the sleep that you need. You still have responsibilities and things to do. I have definitely noticed that my mood is more calm and things don’t trigger me like they used to.

Off Days

I’m realizing that the more I work on my own shadows and work through past traumas, the less things trigger me. You can look at a situation without needing something or someone else to complete you. I know that I can achieve happiness all by myself. The more I work on myself, the easier happiness comes to me. I also stopped telling myself the story of my traumas because when you keep telling the same story, you start to identify with that and continue to attract more of the same energy into your life. Once I started telling a story about healing those traumas and rising above what happened to me, I was able to break that thought pattern and attract new energy into my life for real changes.
